1892
Founding — Atticus Sterling opens the firm's first chambers on Beacon Street, focusing on civil rights and constitutional law.
1924
Landmark victory — Lex Aeterna wins Sterling v. Commonwealth, establishing precedent for fair trial protections.
1965
Expansion — Offices open in New York, London, and San Francisco. The firm becomes a global reference in corporate ethics.
2008
Pro bono initiative — The Sterling Foundation is launched, providing free legal aid to over 10,000 families annually.
